ORDINANCE NO. 1, 2020
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.12.120 OF THE
POWELL CITY CODE BY REQUIRING OUTSIDE DISCONNECTS
FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the governing body of the City of Powell, Park County, Wyoming, as follows:
Section 1. Section 15.12.120 of the Powell City Code is hereby amended to provide as follows:
Section 15.12.120 Outside disconnects on existing structures.
All electrical systems shall have an outside disconnect of ample size adjacent to or attached to the meter base or at the point of service entry into the building. Any time electric service is disconnected for any reason, the outside disconnect must be installed before reconnection of city electric service.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon adoption and publication as required by law.
