Powell High School track and field athletes were recognized for their efforts at the state meet in Casper this weekend, racking up 10 All-State honors between the boys’ and girls’ squads that both won state titles.

On the boys’ side, Daniel Merritt earned All-State for his 800 meter win alongside his second place 3200 meter runner-up finish.

Isaiah Woyak earned All-State honors after winning the triple jump and placing second in the high jump.

Cody Seifert earned All-State after placing second in the triple jump.

For the girls, the team of Anna Bartholomew, Kinley Cooley, Kenna Jacobsen and Megan Jacobsen earned All-State for their 4x800 relay victory.

Sydney Spomer earned All-State after winning the triple jump — breaking a 31-year-old PHS record in the process.

Ine Kollstad earned a pair of All-State honors after placing second in the long jump and triple jump.

Addy Thorington was the final Panther to earn honors after finishing runner up in the high jump.

All-State honors are given to athletes who finished in the top two in individual events or were part of a winning relay team.
