Winter weather finally reared its ugly head this past weekend, as the Powell Panther basketball teams were unable to make the trip to the southwest corner of the state.
The Panthers’ scheduled games at Lyman and Mountain View on Friday and Saturday were postponed.
Those games will be played as varsity only contests on Monday, Feb. 17, and Tuesday Feb. 18. The girls’ games will tip at 5:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. while the boys’ games will tip at 7 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Next on the schedule will be a trip to Worland on Friday, as the girls (11-4 overall, 2-1 3A West) will take on the Warriors (1-14 overall, 0-5 3A West) at 5:30 p.m. and the boys (10-5 overall, 0-3 3A West) will take on the Warriors (8-7 overall, 3-2 3A West) at 7 p.m.
