Candidates for national, state and county offices will participate in a Meet the Candidates afternoon gathering at Washington Park on Thursday, Aug. 11.
The event five days ahead of the Wyoming Primary Election is hosted by Powell Economic Partnership.
Candidates have the opportunity to meet the public at campaign tables in the park from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. A candidate forum and question and answer session in the bandshell will follow from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m.
Moderators for the forum are PEP board members Carter Baxter and Michela Morrisey. They will be assisted by timekeepers Megan Pfefferle and Cayde O’Brien.
PEP’s annual meeting in a nearby white tent follows the candidate event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
