PUBLIC NOTICE
The Wyoming Public Service Commission (Commission) approved the Application of Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. to pass on a decrease of $0.257 per dekatherm (Dth) for residential and firm general customers, small and large interruptible customers, and seasonal customers, effective on and after September 1, 2024, subject to notice, protest, intervention, refund, change, further investigation, opportunity for hearing and further order of the Commission.
MDU’s proposal results in a decrease of $0.54 for a typical MDU residential customer using 2.10 Dth in September 2024. Actual bills will vary with usage.
Commission Rule Chapter 3, Section 26, allows a utility to pass on to its customers known or projected commodity cost increases or decreases on a dollar-for-dollar basis, subject to public notice, opportunity for hearing and refund.

Anyone desiring to file a statement, intervention petition, protest, or request for hearing must file with the Commission in writing, on or before November 29, 2024. A proposed intervention or request for hearing shall set forth the grounds, the position and interest of the petitioner in this proceeding.
