Linda was preceded in death by her dad, Abbott Beacham; mom, Lillian; and sister, Barbara. She is survived by her husband, John C. Williams; son, John R. Williams and his wife, Angela; granddaughter, Victoria; grandsons, Benjamin and Stephen; sister, Judy Wells; brother, Rick Beacham and wife, Linda; and many more nieces and nephews.

Linda was well loved wherever she was whether at Faith Community Church, work, or any other social function. She started her life in Los Angeles, California. Then the family moved to the Mojave Desert when she was around 8. She grew up loving and riding horses in the open spaces of the desert.

She married John C. Williams on Oct. 12, 1957, and would have celebrated 63 years of marriage this year. After they were married, they moved to Wyoming, where Linda became a farmer’s wife. They farmed until the late 1970s when they started a construction business, along with several other businesses.

In the late 1980s, she started working for Creations in Leather, in Cody, where she made several items for well known people, like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Trace Adkins.

She had a passion for many things such as baking, reading, sewing, painting, riding horses, enjoying the outdoors, and she loved planting flowers and taking care of them. She finally got her lifelong wish when we took her to the hospice house. The room where they put her was right by a waterfall, which she always wanted.

A memorial service will be held at Washington Park in Powell on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 1-3 p.m. under the picnic area. All who loved Linda or the Williams family are welcome to come. Bring your own lawn chair just in case it is needed.
