REQUEST FOR INSURANCE PROPOSALS
SHOSHONE MUNICIPAL WATER
JOINT POWERS BOARD
The Shoshone Municipal Water Joint Powers Board (d/b/a Shoshone Municipal Pipeline) requests proposals for property insurance on their pipelines and associated buildings, water treatment plant at Cody, underground storage reservoirs at Cody and Deaver, elevated storage tanks at Byron and Frannie, and vehicles, as indicated in the specifications available at their office at 50 Agua Via, (PO Box 488), Cody, Wyoming 82414. The coverage is to be effective July 1, 2025 for a three-year period.
Proposals are to be submitted to the Manager of the Shoshone Municipal Water Joint Powers Board by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened. Proposals will be analyzed and presented to the Shoshone Municipal Water Joint Powers Board (Board) at their regular meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025.
The Board also requests that the proposals indicate who will perform the loss and claim service.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and at their discretion to waive technical defects in the forms of proposals submitted and to select the proposal they feel is in the best interests of the Shoshone Municipal Water Joint Powers Board.
Within ninety (90) days prior to the expiration date of the insurance contract, the successful agency agrees to furnish the Board with loss and claim experience for the first thirty-three (33) months of the policy period.
