Game of the Week: Scratch and Scramble
The Good Old Boys golf league went into week 17 with a game of “Scratch and Scramble.” Split into four-man teams, the group added all players’ net scores and divided by four to get the team score.
First place went to Kevin Lineback, Dave Frost, Stephen Burtoft and Jim Tobin, with a score of 67.75.
In second with a score of 68.5 was the team of Thom Seliga, Ken Rochlitz, Tom Bibbey and Mike Hernandez.
The team of Larry Hedderman, James Caffro, Bob Parsons and Bob Mason carded a 69.25 to finish third, while fourth place went to Clark Jeffs, Jerry Linsdau, Ray Nelson and Rhett Wolff.
Fifth place, with a score of 71.5, went to Dennis McCollum, Buddy Rae, Paul Devoss and Lloyd Snyder.
Bolstered by a hole-in-one on hole No. 15, Linsdau posted the low score of the day with a 78.
Low net was a tie between Parsons and Seliga, who both carded a 68. Although there was an ace from Linsdau, no deuces were carded on Tuesday.
