Amid colder temperatures, the Good Old Boys golf league at Powell Golf Club swung back on Tuesday with “Mutt and Jeff” as the game of the week. Four-man teams counted four net scores on par 3s and par 5s for their score.
The first place team with a score of 136 was the team of Ed Swistak, Bob Parsons, Jerry Linsdau and Bob Mason. Second place with a score of 138 was the team of Larry Hedderman, Buddy Rae, Clark Jeffs and Marc Saylor.
Two teams tied for third with a score of 143, the first team consisting of Gerry Johns, Dennis McCollum, Ray Nelson and Cas Seago and second consisting of Don Hardy, David Frost, Lloyd Snyder and a blind draw of Nelson.
Jeffs carded the only deuce of the day on hole No. 8, along with shooting the low net score of 84. Nelson had the low gross of 73.
