The game of the week for the Powell Golf Club’s Good Old Boys was Cha Cha Cha. On Tuesday, four-man teams used one net ball on hole 1, two net balls on hole 2 and three net balls on hole 3, then repeated the process until all 18 holes were played.
In first place with a 133 was the team of Ed Swistak, Kevin Lineback, Don Hardy and Bob Parsons. Second place was a tie at 134 between the teams of Larry Hedderman, Steve Burtoft, Buddy Rae and Marc Saylor, and Dennis McCollum, Jim Tobin, Clark Jeffs and Pete Pleban. Fourth place went to Cas Seago, Jerry Linsdau, David Frost and a blind draw of Burtoft, who posted a 136. At 144 was the sixth-place team of Gerry Johns, Ray Nelson, Bob Mason and Lloyd Snyder.
Two deuces were carded: one by Frost on hole 17 and one by Lineback on hole 15. Low gross and low net went to Jeffs with a 76 and 70, respectively.
