The Good Old Boys of Powell Golf Club took one low gross and one low net from four-man teams on July 6.
In first place at 132 was the team of Marc Saylor, Dennis McCollum, Thom Seliga and Rhett Wolff (blind draw). Jason Quigley, Larry Hedderman, James Caffro and Buddy Rae were second at 133. Third place went to Clark Jeffs, Jerry Linsdau, Ray Nelson and Bob Parsons with a 140.
Tied at 144 were the teams of Bob Mason, Gerry Johns, Lloyd Snyder and Nelson (blind draw); and Kevin Lineback, Pete Pleban, Ed Swistak and Wolff. Finishing in sixth at 146 was Craig Evans, Terry Lane, Steve Burtoft and Cas Seago.
Six deuces were carded, a league record. One birdie was recorded on hole 4 by Caffro, three on hole 8 by Quigley, Jeffs and Mason and two on hole 15 by Pleban and Wolff.
Low gross went to Quigley with a 75 and low net was a tie between McCollum and Caffro at 68.
