This week, the “Good Old Boys” league of Powell Golf Club played 1-and-2, where four-person teams use one gross and two net balls for their score.
Bob Mason, Kevin Lineback, Mike Hernandez and Thom Seliga finished first with a score of 214. Second was 217 by Clark Jeffs, Gerry Johns, Judge Gambill and David Frost. In third, Gerry Linsdau, James Caffro, Lloyd Snyder and Ray Nelson finished at 226. And in fourth place, two teams — Tom Bibbey, Steve Burtoft, Larry Hedderman and Bob Parsons; and John Chase, Cas Seago, Buddy Rae and Jim Tobin — scored 230.
Two deuces were carded: Hernandez on hole 8, and Chase on hole 15. Hernandez also had the low gross and low net scores, of 78 and 70, respectively.
