The “Good Old Boys” league at Powell Golf Club played “six-six-six” this week, which consists of taking one net score on holes 1-6, two on holes 7-12, and three on holes 13-18.
Kevin Lineback, Jason Quigley, Rhett Wolff and Lloyd Snyder finished in first place, scoring 129.
Taking second place, Clark Jeffs, Stephen Burtoft, Thom Seliga and Jim Tobin logged a score of 130. One stroke behind them, at 131, Howard Whitlock, Marc Saylor, Ray Nelson and (blind draw) Jeffs finished in third.
Two teams — Larry Hedderman, Bob Parsons, Gerry Johns and Jerry Linsdau; and James Caffro, Dennis McCollum, Cas Seago and Buddy Rae — tied at fourth place with 135. And in sixth, at 138, was Tom Bibbey, Dave Frost, Bob Mason and Mike Hernandez.
On hole 8, Lindsau carded the round’s only deuce. Jeffs and Seago tied for the low net at 67, and Jeffs had the low gross at 75.
