Gerald Wayne Thornberry

Gerald was born to Cleora (Woollen) and Wade Thornberry. He grew up on the Thornberry homestead on the Willwood. He attended school in Powell.

He served in the Army for two years. He married the love of his life, LaVaughn Carr, on Feb. 9, 1957.

They lived in Powell, Gillette, and then settled in Casper, where they raised their two daughters, Loni and Lynda. Gerald worked for Baker-Hughes Oil Service from 1957 until his retirement in 1991. He and LaVaughn spent their retirement traveling, RVing, and making friends from all over the country.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold, Wade, Wilmer; sisters Helen, Ruth, and Frances; his wife of 60 years, LaVaughn; and his daughter Lynda.

He is survived by his daughter Loni (Gerald) Muisener of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
