Entries sought for Yellowstone Quilt Fest

With September around the corner, it is quilt show time again.

Organizers of the 2019 Yellowstone Quilt Fest are encouraging residents to enter quilts in next month’s show. Quilts that haven’t been shown since 2013 can be entered in this year’s fest.

This year’s theme is “What’s Blooming in Wyoming?” The quilt fest will take place Sept. 12-14 in Cody.

“Quilts with a history and new quilts are enjoyed by everyone,” said Marybeth Richardson, an organizer of the annual quilt fest.

The forms to enter your quilt(s), with the instructions for entering, are available online at yellowstonequiltfest.info.

Quilters also are invited to make a 12.5-inch by 12.5-inch challenge block based on the theme “What’s Blooming in Wyoming?” These blocks will be used to make the raffle quilt for next year, and guidelines are available on the Yellowstone Quilt Fest website.
