Flu season is on its way and Powell Valley Healthcare is again hosting a drive-through flu shot clinic to help the community fight the flu. People can go to the PVHC Physical & Occupational Therapy parking lot, located at 469 S. Mountain View St., on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 3-5:30 p.m.
Flu shots are available to adults 18 and older and the cost is $25. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Medicare cards are also accepted. High dose vaccine for those 60 and older will not be available at the drive-through clinic. When arriving for a flu shot, enter the parking lot on Mountain View Street and exit on Wyoming Avenue.
Those who can’t make it to the drive-through clinic, can call the clinic to schedule a flu shot at 307-754-7257. Pediatric flu shots for children are also available by appointment.
Park County Public Health is hosting its flu shot clinic in Powell on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Park County Fairgrounds, 8:30 a.m-6 p.m. Flu shots at this clinic are $25 for adults. Public Health also will be offering high dose vaccine for those 60 and older for $70 and flu shots for children under 18 years of age for $20. Public Health also accepts Medicare part B and Medicaid.
