Special Meeting
Friday, May 1, 2020
Chairman Tilden called to order a special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Park County, Wyoming, on Friday, May 1, 2020. Present were Chairman, Joe Tilden, Vice Chairman, Lee Livingston, Commissioners, Dossie Overfield, Jake Fulkerson, Lloyd Thiel, and Deputy County Clerk Hans Odde.
Commissioner Livingston led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.

RE: Revisiting Opening Park County Facilities
Chairman Tilden explained the purpose of this meeting is to consider reopening Park County facilities.
Commissioner Livingston made a motion to reopen Park County facilities on Monday, May 4, 2020. Commissioner Overfield seconded and the motion carried.
Chairman Tilden asked Mr. Odde to please draft a resolution stating the same. Resolution number 2020-17
The Commissioners proceeded to have a conversation with Homeland Security Director Jack Tatum, Public Health Nurse Manager Bill Crampton, and Park County Health Officer Dr. Aaron Billin regarding how the County will move forward with reopening businesses and other activities in Park County.
Director Tatum also presented a plan for traffic control in the courthouse due to the courts still being closed and the first-floor offices opening on Monday.
Dr. Billin stated that a variance has been granted from the State Health Officer for outdoor seating at restaurants. He will evaluate how this variance is followed and how it might affect the COVID-19 numbers and if we continue to show progress a second variance could be requested to begin inside seating in a limited fashion.
