The Park County Clerk’s Office is offering a free new program that can alert citizens when a document is filed in their name.
In cooperation with the Park County commissioners and the county’s information technology department, the clerk’s office recently rolled out the Document Pro Document Alert, according to a press release.
Document Alert is an online, self-service program. Citizens can sign up by visiting iDocmarket.com and creating an account. They can then search for Park County Wyoming, click on the small shield icon and begin entering names they would like Document Alert to keep them informed of. The system will then email the constituent if any document is recorded in the Park County Clerk’s Office under any of the names they entered into the alert system.
If a person who has signed up for alerts is subsequently notified of a filing they are unaware of they can view the document with a minimal subscription on the iDocmarket.com website or for free on the public terminal in the Park County Clerk’s Office vault.
Detailed instructions for the process can also be found on the clerk’s office website at tinyurl.com/5n7afdhz .
“We have had an uptick in the amount of phone calls from our citizens who are concerned about document fraud,” said Park County Clerk Colleen Renner, “and we feel that this free service is one more piece in our overall integrity tool box that we are excited to offer here in Park County.”
Document Alert is available for use at iDocmarket.com.
