Kadi Cooley graduated from the West Virginia University School of Medicine on May 16, earning her medical degree.
A 2013 graduate of Powell High School, Cooley received her undergraduate degree at the University of Wyoming in physiology with minors in psychology, honors and neuroscience.
She will be starting her five-year orthopedic surgery residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, at the end of June.
Cooley is the daughter of Jeff and Leah Cooley of Powell.
