Wyoming Wireless is now CellOnly.

CellOnly recently purchased all 18 Wyoming Wireless locations in the state — including the Powell location on South Mountain View Street. The acquisition brought the company’s total stores to 33.

“As a company based out of the Midwest, CellOnly specializes in serving smaller rural communities,” said Marketing Manager Ryan Bowden. “A focus of our company culture is being involved in our communities and giving back. Wyoming Wireless aligned well with this, which made the transition natural.”

CellOnly retained all the local staff and management when it took over the stores in July. Cell-Only said it plans to renovate each Wyoming Wireless store with “a fresh look and updated interiors” in the coming month.

Prior to the acquisition, Cell-Only had locations throughout the Midwest — with one to four stores in eight states — but none in Wyoming.

The store is an authorized Verizon retailer, selling wireless plans, smartphones, tablets and watches.

Bowden said customers can expect an improved experience with the change, saying the company is distinguished by its expertise and care, with a focus on customer service.

In addition to its Wyoming stores, CellOnly operates locations in Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and South Dakota. For more information, visit www.cell-only.com.
