Carol Delilah Sheets (Sessions) went to be with her savior surrounded by family on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Carol was born April 21, 1953, to Newell and Daisy Sessions, in Greybull, Wyoming.

Carol loved her family more than anything. She had a great enjoyment for camping, whether it be at Paint Rock Lakes in the Bighorns or Wood River, for hunting outside of Meeteetse.

Carol took her career very seriously. She was always advocating for her staff, but mostly for her residents and participants.

Carol worked for Family Planning in Thermopolis. She was the dietary manager for Canyon Hills Manor for decades. She then worked for Big Horn Enterprises until her retirement in 2018. Afterward, she moved to Powell to be closer to family and doctors. In Powell, she worked for the Powell Aquatic Center and volunteered for the Powell Valley Healthcare gift shop.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, brother Phil, daughter Veronica, son-in-law Mark, granddaughter Felicity, beloved niece Candy, and beloved nephew Scott.

Carol is survived by her daughter Jolene; grandkids, Travis, Tabby, and Brittany; big sister Mikki; baby sister Lanette; niece Brandi; nephew John; numerous other extended family; and lots of dear friends.

Carol was cremated. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 10, at 11 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery in Thermopolis. Pastor Joe Moon will be officiating. A luncheon will follow the graveside service at Smoking Waters Shelter in Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis.
