A fish screen built on the North Fork irrigation canal stops fish from entering the ditch during agricultural growing seasons. The East Yellowstone Chapter of Trout Unlimited, along with several financial sponsors, pushed for the project to save trout that would find themselves in trouble as the canal was drained.
