Thora, the first foal sired by Thor, the iconic stallion of the McCullough Peaks Herd Management Area, was a favorite of fans of the approximately 175-horse herd at the Bureau of Land Management property between Powell and Cody. Thora was captured and moved to a holding facility in Rock Springs as part of an effort to bring the population back in line with the BLM’s management levels.
