(June 4, 1957 - Jan. 7, 2017)

On June 4th, 1957, in Bertha, Minnesota, a chubby-cheeked, blue-eyed baby boy was born to Ralph and Rosella (Scott) Warren. They named him Randy Lee.

Randy graduated from Eagle Bend High School in Eagle Bend, Minnesota, in 1975. He then continued his education at Wilmer Vo-Tech in Wilmar, Minnesota, to learn auto body repair.

On Dec. 23, 1978, at a Christmas party in Long Prairie, Minnesota, Randy met the love of his life and his soulmate, Sharon Wolbeck. They were inseparable from that day forward.

In August of 1979, Randy and Sharon moved from Minnesota to Powell, Wyoming. They were married on Dec. 22, 1979.

In 1984, Randy opened his own auto body repair shop — Body Massage — where Randy and Sharon worked side by side.

Randy was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor that was felt by all who knew him.

He was knowledgeable, meticulous and took pride in everything he did. His passion for flowers is evident by all the beautiful flowers in our yard; he would share his plants with anyone who wanted some.

Randy also loved woodworking, working on cars, walking his puppies, and he enjoyed watching old black and white movies and westerns.

Randy loved all animals, but adored his little puppy Lucky, and loved his other pups Ashley, Riva and Oliver, and he always had a soft spot for stray cats.

Randy fought and fought, but couldn’t win this last fight against cancer. I’m so proud of him and he is my hero; he never complained once, only asked “Why me?” We prayed for a miracle, but didn’t get the miracle we prayed for.

Randy passed away on Jan. 7, 2017, with his loving wife Sharon by his side.

Preceding Randy in death were his parents, brother Richard, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Aloyuis and Juletta Wolbeck, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gene and Sharon Wolbeck and brother-in-law Aaron Michaelson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Sharon; brothers Bill (Linda) Warren, Dennis (Nikki) Warren; sisters Karen (David) Pommerening and Barb Erickson, all of Minnesota; sister-in-law Janet Warren of Powell; sister-in-laws Janice (Ronnie) Brown; Shirley (Kenny) Toenyan of Minnesota; JoAnn (Brent) Christensen of Idaho; Karon (Shane) Sanchez of Florida; brother-in-law Jerry (Rosie) Wolbeck of Minnesota; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. at The Commons in downtown Powell, and also on June 3, 2017, also at The Commons, for those who can’t make it because of the weather.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and his puppies, but especially by his loving wife Sharon.
