Patricia (Patsy) Ann McKeever, 80, of Billings, passed away at home after a long battle with diabetes and complications. She was born in Miles City, Montana, on Jan. 29, 1939, to John and Neomi (Kitchen) Volkert.

She grew up in the Miles City/Baker area. She married Jim McKeever on Oct. 29, 1959. They moved to Powell and started their family. In 1972, they moved to Billings to start their own business, McKeever Concrete Products, where she helped in the office.

Her love of cooking led her to the catering department at Deaconess Hospital where she worked until retirement. Family was important to her. She enjoyed hosting large family meals. She especially enjoyed her grandkids and keeping her house stocked with goodies for them. She will be truly missed.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lorraine Cunningham, her brother Carl Daugherty, her baby brother John Volkert, and infant daughter Kimberly.

She is survived by her husband Jim McKeever; her sons Steve (Susan) and Mike (Julie Edney); sister Virginia Culver, formerly of Baker; her brother Phil (Pam) Volkert; her grandkids Brian (Jesi) McKeever, Amy (Kris) Nelson, Sam (Suzanne) McKeever, Cody (Mandy) McKeever, Molly and Emily McKeever; and seven great-grandkids; along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on March 23 at City Church, on the corner of Wicks and Lake Elmo in Billings.
