Linda Marie Ruskowsky, 67, of Cody, died Thursday Sept. 22, 2016, at Spirit Mountain Hospice House with her family by her side after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Cody on July 17, 1949, to Vernon and Helen (Kempf) Keever.
She met the love of her life Dale Ruskowsky. They married on July 22, 1972, and had three children: Alan, Duane, and Pam.
Linda was a homemaker raising her three children.
After her children were raised, Linda cleaned rooms at several hotels in Cody. Linda was an active member at the First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the choir. She also was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 818, serving as a member of the auxiliary drill team. Linda was an animal lover. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her three granddaughters were her pride and joy.
Linda had a big heart and will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Helen Keever, and her brother, Dale Keever.
Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dale Ruskowsky; children Alan (Amy), Duane and Pam (Steve) Cruz, all of Cody; granddaughters Madison, Sara, and Rebecca; and brother Elwin (Nina) Keever; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cody with graveside services at Riverside Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church on Thursday.
Memorial donations may be made to the Spirit Mountain Hospice House of Cody.
