Leona Evelyn Lovercheck-Wilkins-Leach, 81, died peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2017, at the Grizzly Peak Senior Living and Retirement Community in Missoula.
She will be remembered for her attitude, gardening, crocheting, quilting, homemade jams and jellies, rolls, blue cheese dressing and X-rated desserts. She was active in her church, senior centers, visiting with friends and families.
Leona is survived by her sister, Ruth Lovercheck-Johnson of Powell; daughters, D’Ann Wilkins-Kimball-Russell of Missoula, Phyllis Hartman (Kevin) of Missoula; sons, Kenneth Wilkins (Bonnie) of Missoula, Martin Wilkins of Missoula; Sharon Leach-DeMarte of Seattle, Washington, Larry Leach, North Dakota, Kenneth Leach of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place at the Alcan Pub in Frenchtown, Montana, on Saturday, March 11 at 1 p.m.
