When he flew out of Cody’s Yellowstone Regional Airport on Friday evening, Jim Betzold had no reason to think the flight was going to be any different than the countless others he’d flown over the past 35 years.

Following an “extensive review of branch usage trends,” Bank of the West brass have decided to close the bank’s Powell branch.

It ended up as a more than $1.64 million scam, but Paul Cardwell says it didn’t start out that way.
