Golf tournament takes place Aug. 17
Right before schools starts, Big Horn Basin golfers can get back in the swing as the Trapper Bonanza golf tournament takes place Friday, Aug. 17, at the Powell Golf Club.
Four-person teams will vie for pro shop dollars plus individual flag prizes for both men and women. Golfers also have a shot at the golf getaway raffle, which features 18 holes of golf and one night’s accommodation at the Golf Club at Devil’s Tower near Hulett. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25 and the winner need not be present at the time of the drawing.
After 18 holes of competition, golfers will gather for dinner, the raffle drawing and a chance to win cash prizes. Additional meal tickets are available for $15 apiece.
The Trapper Booster Club sponsors the Trapper Bonanza golf tournament each year to give area residents an opportunity to get to know the Northwest College coaches and to support the college’s athletic teams.
This year’s tournament tees off at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $90 and includes all tournament, green and cart fees, a sleeve of balls and the banquet. To sign up, or for more information, contact Andrea Shipley at 754-6034.
