The University of Wyoming tennis team will host a three-day clinic May 31 - June 2 in Powell. The clinic is open to middle school and high school students and runs from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. on all three days.
Participants are responsible for furnishing their own lunches, drinks and snacks each day.
“This is the first time the University of Wyoming has come to Powell to hold a tennis clinic,” said Powell High School tennis coach Ray Bieber. “We’re hoping to have a good turnout locally. I know Cody is planning to bring a bus of kids down for it.”
The clinic will feature instruction in the various facets of play and is designed to allow for maximum attention for each participant. There will be no more than six participants per clinician.
The cost for the three-day clinic is $100. To register or for more information, contact Bieber at 254-2382. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, May 25.
