Petra Limon, 58, of Byron, and Mission, Texas, died March 5, 2010 at North Big Horn Hospital.

She was born Aug. 12, 1951, in Mission, Texas, to Pedro Alonzo and Ricarda (Avila) Alonzo. Petra and Enrique (Henry) Limon  were married Dec. 18, 1968 at the Guadalupe Church in Mission, and were married for 41 years. They lived in Powell more than 20 years, including Byron, for several years. Petra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and she had a big heart when it came to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Enrique, daughters Eliza Limon and Estella (Harry) Clark; two grandsons, Raymundo Ramos III, Ismael S. Dominguez; two sisters, Maria (Moises) Manrique, Fenaida (Simon) Limon; brothers, Albino (Alicia) Alonzo, Elpidio (Juanita) Alonzo, Espidio Alonzo; sister-in-law Natalie Alonzo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gregario Alonzo, and a granddaughter.

A vigil will be held Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Powell. Services will be Wednesday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Barbara's Church. A luncheon will be held at the VFW Club in Powell at 12:30 p.m.

Thompson Funeral Home of Powell assisted the family with arrangements.
