Harlem Ambassadors Tour coming to Lovell

Posted

The Harlem Ambassadors will bring their game to Lovell this Saturday in a benefit for two area organizations.

The internationally-acclaimed team will perform their unique Harlem-style basketball in the Lovell High School Gym Saturday evening, March 19, at 7 p.m., with all proceeds going to benefit the Lovell D.A.R.E. program and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Wyoming.

“At our shows, we want the kids to know that they’re part of our team too,” Coach Ladè Majic said. “We invite as many kids as we can to come sit on the bench, have a front row seat during the show, and get involved in all of the fun stuff we do.”

They perform more than 200 shows a year, helping raise millions of dollars for organizations, an accomplishment of which Ambassadors president Dale Moss is very proud.

Tickets are now on sale at Big Horn Federal and First National banks in Lovell; Big Brothers Big Sisters offices in Cody and Powell; Bank of Greybull and Big Horn Federal in Greybull; and Security State Bank in Basin.

Advance ticket prices are $6 for students and $7 for adults. Children 4 and under will be admitted free. Tickets are also available at the door for an additional dollar each. Group rates for 10 or more are available upon request. Call 307-548-6707 to reserve group tickets.
