{gallery}09_03_09/SugarBeetRun{/gallery}Race attracts more than three dozenLadell Merritt captured the men's title and Deb Magilke was the women's division champion in the 2009 Sugar Beet Classic in Powell this past weekend.Merritt captured the men's title by more than two minutes over Forrest Boughner. Magilke's women's title came by a margin of more than four minutes. The race asked competitors to run a five-kilometer race, then board a bicycle for a 25K leg, before heading to the finish line with another 5K run.The event also offered team divisions. An individual 5K race was also part of this year's event.
