Girls’ softball roundup: Bank of Powell team still alive in tournament

Middle school

One of Powell’s two middle school softball teams is still alive in the season-ending tournament this week.

The team from Bank of Powell beat Cody’s Papa Murphy’s team Tuesday night and played Cody’s Mountain West after press time on Wednesday.

Powell’s UPS Store team lost to Sprague Roofing in an elimination game Tuesday night. The UPS Store lost to Cody’s Mountain West squad Monday night to fall to the loser’s bracket of the tournament.
