Donald Trump was overheard by millions Friday making vulgar, lewd and disgusting comments that belittled women and treated them as objects.

Last week’s observance of the 20th anniversary of the brutal rape and murder of Northwest College student Berry Bryant was no celebration.

Just over a month from now, voters will choose the person who will fill the top governing seat in our country for the next four years. Actually, absentee voting has already begun.

A survey of Northwest College employees conducted earlier this year showed the highest satisfaction with the college’s student-centered focus, while the lowest rankings focused on institutional structure.

A rainstorm over Friday and the weekend dropped 0.9 to 1.25 inches of rain on Powell and larger amounts in the surrounding area.

Steam tractors still amaze people who see them

Steam-engine tractors had a relatively short lifespan in terms of the length of time they were in use on American farms. But steam engines still live on in farm lore and in the hearts of many people who make their living off the land.
