Rodney Welch Crosby, long-time Cowley rancher, died at the New Horizon’s Care Center in Lovell on Sunday, Aug. 31 from Parkinson’s Disease. He was 91.

Former Powell resident Adolph Michael (Duffy) Olveda, 74, died at his home in Marrero, La., on Aug. 30 from lung cancer.
In a 1971 plutonium laboratory near Denver, he became a nuclear age statistic when he inhaled more radiation than anyone in history after a nuclear accident.

Patricia May Spencer Moore, of Clark, died of cancer Aug. 20 at her daughter’s home in Kimberly, Idaho. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer in April and she spent the final months of her life surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  According to her family, this summer will long be remembered as the summer they spent with their Oma at The Ranch in Clark.
