Vickie Lynn (Chouinard) LeRoy died Monday, July 23 at the Powell Valley Care Center. She was 59.

Vickie was born on June 14, 1953 in Glendive, Mont., to Douglas and Marjorie (Funk) Chouinard.

She attended high school in Powell. She was a prominent member of the Powell Jaycee’s in the ‘80s, and an active member of the American Legion. She attended the Catholic church.

Vickie enjoyed giving her time and creativity through the VFW, American Legion and Eagles Club.

Vickie’s mind was always in a creative state. She enjoyed painting, crafting, baking and sewing, and whatever else she could make into a project.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald; and parents, Douglas and Marjorie Chouinard.

Vickie is survived by her daughters, Tonya Chouinard of Rochester, N.Y., Alicia (Vic) Potts of Winnemucca, Nev., Christina (Greg) Williams of Boise, Idaho; brothers Larry Chouinard of Powell and Douglas Chouinard of Cody; sisters Sheila (Larry) Stricker of Powell and Darla (Brad) Brown of Riverton; Kay (Tim) Tuttle of Havelock, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.

Private family services will be held and burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
