Sandra Hawley died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from an apparent heart attack. She was 64.
Sandra was born Dec. 26, 1947 in Hardin, Mont., to Louis and Jessie Taylor. She was raised by Harold and Jessie Fetzer and attended school in Cody.
Sandra married Larry Hawley on May 26, 1967 in Powell. To this union, two children were born, Kimberly and Larry Ward Hawley, Jr. Sandra and Larry retired in New Mexico.
Gardening, canning, crafting, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends were some of Sandra’s favorite things in life. Raising unique flowers, especially lilies and angels trumpet, brought her great joy. Sandra and Larry also enjoyed feeding quail in their backyard, with the crazy birds lining up for their meal as soon as they heard the door open.
Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Larry Hawley Jr., her father Harold Fetzer, sister Debra LaMar, and her brother, Dean Fetzer.
She is survived by her husband Larry Hawley, daughter Kimberly, mother Jessie Fetzer, sisters Lorrie Tate and Carrie Walsh, brother Larry Fetzer, and several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
Cremation has taken place with a private ceremony planned later this summer.
