Donis “Granny” Gordy of Cody died peacefully at Powell Valley Care Center early Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was 103.
Donis was born Oct. 2, 1908. She is survived by her three daughters: Edyth Nell Murry of Westlake, La., Janis Holder of Cody, and Norita Helton of Leesville, La.; a brother Roy Berry; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marshal Gordy, brothers Harold and Jim Berry, and sisters Vivian Waskom, Bert Stewart, and Demple Lawrence.

Funeral services will be held at Ballard Funeral Home on Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. with Pete Idema officiating.
