Clara Meyers Barber died Monday, Sept. 26 in Billings of heart failure. She was 94.
She was born May 19, 1917 in Garland. Her parents were Laura and Henry Meyers.
Clara attended the Garland grade school and graduated from Powell High School, and later moved to California.
She was a waitress in many elite restaurants in California. She married Bob Barber soon after moving to California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents; sisters Katie Brown of Cody and Mary Burns of Cody; brothers Jack of Haines, Alaska, and Bud of Garland.
Clara is survived by her sisters Ethel Meyers Heimer of Garland and Loretta Johannes of Billings; and many caring nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and services are pending at a later date.
