Jeanine Averett Myers was born in Lovell on Oct. 23, 1935, and died Sept. 22, 2011. She was 75. She was the oldest of five children born to Lomond LaMar and Zelpha Asay Averett.
Jeanine married Loyd L. Myers on June 3, 1954, in Lovell and they were later sealed together in the Idaho Falls Temple. Jeanine and Loyd were blessed with five children, Robert Loyd Myers of Houston; Brenda and the late Murray Mock of Ridgeland, S.C.; Kenneth (Christine) Myers of DeWitt, Iowa; Jeanette Myers of Lovell, and Renee Georgius of Billings. She also had 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd L. Myers of Clark; her mother, Zelpha Asay Averett of Lovell; one brother, Jerry (Sharon) Averett of Soda Springs, Idaho; and two sisters, Doris (Keith) Voyles of Cody and Carol (Dale) Walker of Lovell. She was preceded in death by her father, Lomond LaMar Averett, brother Kenneth LaMar Averett and granddaughter Sarah Christine Myers.
Jeanine loved her family. Her children were the most important thing in the world to her. She also loved to be with her extended family, her sisters and brother and families, and especially her Mom and Dad.
Funeral services were Monday at the Lovell LDS Church, followed by burial in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
