Robert Joseph ‘Bob’ Good

Robert Joseph “Bob” Good, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 in Cody.

He was the eldest of 10 children, born June 13, 1924 to James Lucien and Isabelle L. (Hebert) Good in Detroit, Mich. He graduated from high school in Ross Township, Ohio, in 1942.

After returning from Germany as a Purple Heart veteran of World War II, Bob married Betty J. Williams. They would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary next month.

His accomplishments were numerous and after semi-retirement from the insurance industry he moved from Oregon, Ohio, to Cody, in the early 1970s, where he sold real estate for many years.

Bob was a member of the Wyoming Old Time Fiddlers and enjoyed hunting and fishing and all that Wyoming has to offer.

In the recent past, he and Betty wintered in Casa Grande, Ariz., and eventually stayed there much of the year. They moved back to Cody last year.

Bob was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty and Marge; and one brother, James.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty of Cody; two daughters, Linda (Jim) Jessen of Cody, and Karen (Gary) Fulbright of Deaver; one brother, Tom (Becky) Good; five sisters, Leona Ludwig, Marie Rowland, Martha Meeks, Joyce (Ralph) Justice, and Carol (Bill) Crosser; three grandchildren, Heather Feeley of Cody, Mathew Fisher of California, and Becca Fisher of Rhode Island; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Feeley-Perry, Wyman and Ruby Fisher and Andrew Doughty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and private family memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
