Joseph “Joe” Anthony Zierolf died July 20, 2011. He was 52.

A Mass of Christian burial was held July 25, 2011 at Maria Immaculata in Houma, La.

He was the third child born to Lee and Norma Zierolf Jan. 17, 1959 in Sandusky, Ohio.

The family moved to Greybull in 1972. Joe graduated from Greybull High School in 1977.

Joe owned and operated JAZ tek Corporation in Houma, La. and Scotland. He was an avid inventor. His biggest pride was his American and Foreign patent documentation invention “Method and Apparatus For Determining Position in a Pipe.”

Joe loved to cook and entertain, loved racing and being involved with his son, Channing, in midget Sprint car racing, he was known for his generosity and his keen sense of humor and strong alliance with his friends.

He is survived by his wife Pam of 27 years; son Channing, his mother, Norma Zierolf (former Powell Country Club Manager), brothers, Lee “Skip,” Pete, Tom, Jerry, and Doug “Rufus” and sisters, Char Kline (NWC Admissions Office), and Julie Vaught.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Zierolf in 1984.
