Stanley B. Englert died on Saturday, July 16 after a long illness. Stanley, 72, died at his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Stan was born in Bridger, Mont., on July 29, 1938 to George and Vivian Englert. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Elk Basin where they lived for a few years.

The family traveled extensively because Stan’s father worked in the oil fields. They lived in Billings, Mont., the Wyoming towns of Lovell, McFadden and Rawlins, and Sidney, Neb. In 1951 they moved to Powell where Stan attended Powell schools until mid-semester of 1953 when the family moved to Casper. He graduated from Casper High School (NCHS) in 1956.

Stan married Louise Leonard on July 30, 1956 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where he worked and then to Idaho Falls, where Stan graduated from ISU with an engineering degree.

Stan was preceded in death by his wife Louise, his parents, an infant brother, a niece and a nephew.

He is survived by his sister, Elaine (Tom) Bushey of Powell, a nephew, Steve (Cindy) Bushey, of Las Vegas, and great-nephews, Bryan and Tyler Bushey.

Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
