Timothy ‘Timmy’ P. Fleming Jr.

(Aug. 1, 1974 - April 3, 2011)

Timothy “Timmy” P. Fleming Jr. of Grand Junction, Colo., formerly of Laramie, died in a car accident Sunday, April 3, 2011 in Greeley, Colo. He was 36.

He was born Aug. 1, 1974 to Timothy P. Sr. and Lynda (Swanson) Fleming in San Diego, Calif. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Timmy married Kelly Lantis on July 23, 2005 in Powell. Timmy was a proud pageant daddy and the rock of his family. He grounded everyone and held them together when times were tough. He never met a stranger and had a love for anyone he met. Timmy was a carefree man who loved life and always had a smile on his face.

He was known for his great cooking and willingness to help anyone without question or expectations.

Timmy was preceded in death by his best friend, Jake Holt.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Fleming of Grand Junction; children, Michael and Annabelle Fleming of Grand Junction; parents, Timothy Sr. and Lynda Fleming of Laramie; brothers, Steven Frye and Ian Fleming; sister, Christy (Derek) Anderson. He is also survived by his two nieces; extended family; and close friends.

A visitation will be held from 4- 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home, 2133 Rainbow Ave in Laramie. A celebration of life will be held from 2–5 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Eppson Center for Seniors, 1560 N 3rd. in Laramie.
