Albert Wilsey Barrett, 84, died Feb.  19, 2010, at Powell Valley Care Center.

Wilsey was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Moore Field, Neb., the son of Martha (Lawrence) and Frank Barrett.

He graduated from high school, and served with the U.S. Army in World War II. On Nov. 30, 1946, he married Eveleyn Fisher in Worden, Mont.

He spent his life on various ranches in Montana and Wyoming and was a lifelong cowboy and saddle maker.

Wilsey enjoyed roping, fishing and camping, and he was a member of the American Legion.

Wilsey is survived by his wife, Eveleyn; his sons Jim (Linda) and Frank (Gaye); his sister, Frances Matlock; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 at Thompson Funeral Home, followed by interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Richard Fisher, Perry Fisher, Jeremy Decker, Don Fisher, Ricky Fisher and David Schneider will serve as pallbearers, with John Wayne Fisher and Stan Fisher serving as honorary pall bearers.
