Becky moved from Great Falls, Mont., to Cody in the late 1990s to be close to her parents, Ed and Carmon Coile. While in Cody, she explored many vocations, working as an optician and contributing to the local artists’ co-op.
She served Christ the King Lutheran Church for many years before moving to Powell in 2000 to begin a new life with a new husband, her beloved Bill Clark.
Becky and Bill walked hand-in-hand through all of life’s joys and trials. In 2002, Becky suffered a debilitating stroke. In 2007, she was diagnosed with cancer. Bill remained by her side through every treatment and therapy, every victory and defeat.
Bill died on Thanksgiving Day while at Becky’s bedside. Becky spent her last days at the Powell Valley Care Center. Her father, sister and children were always nearby.
A memorial service will be at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cody on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. Thompson Funeral Home is handling arrangements, and condolences may be sent to the family online at www.thompsonfuneral.net.
