Cleve Tyler Bronson

Cleve Tyler Bronson died April 8 at Powell Valley Care Center.

He was born March 9, 1922, in Russell, Kansas, the son Thelma Zefa (Tyler) and Gus Bronson. He graduated from high school and served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

On Jan. 11, 1947, he married Irene Dick in Great Bend, Kansas. The couple lived in Powell, where Cleve worked as a pumper in the oil field.

A member of the Eagles, Cleve also enjoyed woodworking and fishing in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene.

Cleve is survived by his niece, Michael Roller (Ed) of Lovell; sister Ruth Lee Reissig (Ernie) of Billings and two great-nephews.

Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements. Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.
