Martha Bell (Hall) Largent, 89, passed away March 18 at West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody.

Martha was born Dec. 3, 1919, 10 miles north of Worland on the family farm. She was the fourth child born to Hanes and Winifred (Allan) Hall.

She married Calvin Largent on June 5, 1939 in Big Timber, Mont.

Martha enjoyed cooking, and she was known for her homemade dinner rolls and donuts, and her grandchildren loved her Wyoming Whooper cookies. She was a long-time member of the Cody Better Best Club through the Presbyterian Church, as well as the Cody Home Extension Club.

After Martha suffered a stroke, she spent time going through physical rehabilitation, and she continued to persevere.

She is survived by two sons, Carder Largent (Iris) of Mountain View and Van Largent (Mary) of Cody; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; daughter Glenda Reinholz and a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at West Park Long Term Care Center with interment following at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
