Harriet Dorothy (Hagen) Olson died March 9 in Powell. She was born in Westby, Wisc. on Dec. 8, 1915 to Otto and Mina Hagen.
On Feb. 5, 1935 she married Carmen E. Olson. They had two sons, Luther and Monte. The family lived in Westby until they moved to Powell in May 1953, where Carmen worked at First National Bank until he retired in 1977.
Harriet was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, where she was the organist for 18 years.
She is survived by her sons, Luther (Margaret) of Lyndhurst, Ohio and Monte (Judy) of East Wenatchee, Wash.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday, March 12) at 10 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church.
